MNYANSIOTours & Travel
A safari vehicle at the Ndabaka gate into Serengeti National Park

Why Mnyansio

The differences that change the trip, not the brochure

Five things we do differently, and the reason each one matters once you are in the vehicle.

One

The guide is the product

Two vehicles can leave the same gate at the same time and have completely different days. The difference is the person driving. A guide who has worked one valley for a decade knows which drainage line the leopard uses in October and which pride moved off the plain last week.

We use a small, fixed group of guides, we pay them properly, and we give them the same guests for the whole trip rather than handing you over at each park boundary.

Two

A window seat each, always

Our vehicles are extended 4x4s with a full-length roof hatch, and we do not sell every seat. Nobody climbs over anybody, everybody has a rail to rest a lens on, and the vehicle turns around when you ask it to.

This is the single change that most improves a game drive, and it costs less than moving up one lodge tier.

Three, four and five

The rest of what separates us is about money, honesty and who answers the phone.

01

Pricing you can take apart

Permits, park fees, accommodation, transport, flights and our planning fee are itemised. You can see exactly what we would save you by moving a lodge or dropping a night, and you can see exactly what we make.

02

Advice that sometimes costs us the sale

We will tell you that Kyambura gorge rarely delivers a chimpanzee sighting, that a two-night migration trip is unlikely to show you a crossing, and that April in Bwindi is genuinely muddy. That is the point of asking someone who lives here.

03

A person in this time zone

One number, answered by someone in East Africa who knows your itinerary. Not a rota, not a ticket queue, and not an office that closed eight hours before your flight was cancelled.
